新型HomePodが来年3月末までに発売か〜変更点は？

 
アナリストのミンチー・クオ氏が、Appleは新型HomePodを開発しており、2022年第4四半期（10月〜12月）〜2023年第1四半期（1月〜3月）に発売するとの予想を、Twitterに投稿しました。

ハードウェア面での変更点は大きくないと予想

クオ氏は新型HomePodについて、ハードウェア面での変更点は大きくないと述べています。
 
クオ氏の予想通りであれば、新型HomePodは噂されているようなディスプレイ付きのものでは無さそうです。
 
同氏はHomePodシリーズについて、Appleはスマートスピーカー市場で成功する手法を確立していないと指摘しています。
 

Apple would release a new version of HomePod in 4Q22-1Q23, and there may not be much innovation in hardware design. Smart speakers are undoubtedly one of the essential elements of the home ecosystem, but I think Apple is still figuring out how to succeed in this market.
