Appleのティム・クック最高経営責任者（CEO）は、地球温暖化などの環境問題に関する企業の取り組みを推進するネットワークを構築した非営利組織、Ceres（セリーズ）の創立30周年式典で登壇し、Appleの環境政策に対する立ち位置について語りました。

気候変動はチャンス

クックCEOはCeresの記念式典において、環境問題への取り組みはリスクではなく、むしろチャンスであることを強調しました。

当社は気候変動をリスクではなく、むしろチャンスだと捉えている。サプライチェーンのパートナーとともに、新しい価値のあるコンピテンシー（組織の核となる技術や特色）を発展させることができる。そして何よりも、それ（環境問題への取り組み）が正しいことだからだ。
