HomePodがAirPodsの新テレビCMに反応して困るとの苦情相次ぐ

 
Appleが最近公開したAirPodsの新作テレビCM「Bounce」で、「Hey, Siri」というフレーズが流れるたびに、スマートスピーカーHomePodが反応して困るとの苦情が、Twitterに投稿されています。

テレビCMの「Hey, Siri」に反応

公開間もないAirPodsの新テレビCM「Bounce」では、冒頭で男性が「Hey Siri」とAirPodsに声をかけます。ところがこの音声に、HomePodが反応してしまうという、困った事態が発生しているようです。

Hey @Apple I don’t really like your new black-and-white commercial for AirPods. With the guy in the commercial put his on and says “hey Siri…” my HomePod start playing the crappiest music I’ve heard in my entire life. I love how somebody on the TV can control my HomePods.

Appleもこれらの投稿を見たようで、現在同社のYouTubeチャンネルで公開されている動画からは、「Hey Siri」の音声が削除されています。
 
削除されていないフルバージョンの動画は、iSpot.tvのページで視聴することができます。

 
音声に反応するといえば、過去にもAmazon Echoが搭載するAlexaが、ニュースで読み上げられた商品をAmazonで勝手に注文してしまうという事件が発生、問題になったことがありました。
